Monday’s Masterpiece

Good Monday morning <3 Hoping everyone had a safe and happy 4th of July…The Artist and me had a wonderful weekend…Road Trip out to our fav places from back in the day 😉

Then on Sunday the 4th was a chill kind of day w/the Artist painting and me planning…Love, love, love to plan. Today will just be a reset kind of day where we keep wondering what day it is 😉 Does that happen to anyone else on these 3 day weekends ???

The weekend started out really great with me and the granddaughter getting our hair done, Chic Filet for lunch and then of course Starbucks to top off the fun day…

So much fun at the salon…Shout out to our forever beauty stylist…Mz. Lisa <3 Thank you so much for making us beautiful again <3 . Oh and I can’t forget the flower’s my wonderful husband bought for me <3 .

Back to business this week, a lot of irons in the fire. Starting a major remodel on the home but then by the end of this year it will all be done. I will update with pics of our beautius home. Let’s enjoy the rest of the summer. Busy, busy month w/birthday’s, anniversary (42nd <3 ) and vacation to New Smyrna Beach, Florida Y A Y !!!! Blessings Blogger’s on your Monday <3 … 😉

Happy Sunday…Almost time for dinner w/the family !!!

Going over to the daughter’s home for dinner !!! On the menu for today are grilled foiled bags with shrimp, chicken and all kinds of other yummy stuff. I’m bringing Baked Beans, Snicker Apple Salad, and a quick trip on the way to small cakes for dessert…I’m getting hungry 😉

I have to admit the Smallcakes almost didn’t make it there in tack…Thankfully they gave us a free one so Grampapa & me, Grandmama got our sugar high w/o digging into the dozen 😉 .

Grammy Party…

It’s been a great Sunday spent with the family, our daughter and her guy Mr. Cordell, his Mom, GiGi and our adorable and I do mean A D O R A B L E grand daughter’s. Well you see for yourself how adorb they are….

When my daughter (the nurse) invited us over, she said we were going to have, “A Grammy Party…” I thought she meant a Grandmama party, but then she put on the Grammy’s and got it. I got that I’m really old 😉 Deep Dish Chicago Pizza, Buntini’s (dessert) and the family made for a great Sunday and no one really even watched the Grammy’s. (No worries, we are all part of the bubble so no Covid here 😉 Actually GiGi is also a nurse so we were following protocol.

Having a major Snowstorm tomorrow…I hate March in the Midwest. Ironically the book that I am reading now is, “The Children’s Blizzard.” Will Spring ever get here !!!
