Good Tuesday morning blogging family ❤ Hope everyone had a great weekend. Our Chicago Blackhawks split the games this weekend. Patrick Kane got his 400th goal so that was fun to watch. Still no Toews though… Wonder what’s up with the Captain.
My rose did not make it through the snowstorm 😦 The other one didn’t do much better either..
This was before the snowstorm and what it looked like through January …I think some music would fit nicely here…
The painter finished his Potatoe Eater’s/Vincent Van Gogh’s…It turned out really well don’t you think 😉 ….
He now has been officially published in the February Edition of Inspirations/Illinois Arts Council Agency…Galena Center for the Arts ❤ .
So happy for Friday…Getting my hair done today. Survived all that snow OMG 2″ people. Yes I know it’s going to be below zero with AHHH wind chills below zero. Hello this is Chicago. Put on a coat and a hat, maybe throw on a scarf and get over it. I’m not staying in. It’s sunny and beautiful albeit a little bit chilly in the Midwest. I need fresh air.
I also wanted to mention my side widget, “Elan Creations.” I put that up on my site yesterday and it took me forever, but I learned a lot. If you click on that you will see many of the Artist’s (my Husband’s)original artwork. It hasn’t been updated in awhile, but there are some beautiful pieces available. They are all for sale, prices are negotiable with or without framing. Below are a few of his recent painting’s…
I just had to add some music to this…Vincent, one of my favorite songs of all time. Here it is performed by Don Mclean.
This is one of my favorites !!! I had it framed and it’s hanging in my kitchen ❤ It can hang in your kitchen too. This is the Original, I have a print hanging in my home. The original’s are more expensive and I’m not really sure he even wants to sell them. The prints are very good though and you can’t really tell the difference unless you are a pro 😉
One last thing, he’s also has some of his work hanging in a gallery out in Galena, IL and his artwork is also published in a book….Here is the link for that publication. Happy Friday 😉
