#Love is in Da Blog

This is our first song !! I still sing it to him and it still kind of annoys him but he’ll give me that wink and I know he’s right where I’m at !!! It’s a great life waking up with him next to me all the time <3.

Oh yes, did I mention he is an amazing artist (not his day job) b/c we didn’t want to be starving artist and trust me that is a true thing…This was at one of his show’s with an oil painting he painted. Name of this one is, “The Jazz Piano Player.”

Okay that’s all for now…and yes he’s still the one and will always be !!!! #Love is in Da Blog !!!

and this next picture was one of us when we were younger. I just always liked the picture … Our boys were professional ballet dancer’s and we had just come from one of their shows when they danced w/Joffrey in Chicago. Time’s were grand, b/c everything is beautiful at the ballet 🙂 …

So I guess I need to put up one more pic of the boys at the ballet 😉 …These are pics of our 3rd son when he danced Cinderella as the Ugly Step Sister, and I’m thinking the last one was the Nutcracker and just a random one that I like…

I can’t leave out our youngest and his beautiful wife who were both professional ballet dancer’s. They are now the proud parents of our 7th grandchild…

#JusJoJan/January 15th/

I say, “Thank You” for today’s prompt which is,”Gratitude”….I really can’t think of a more meaningful word. I’m trying to stay on task, but I can’t think of anything better to add to this prompt. It can really make you feel wonderful when people are grateful. Gratitude can get you through the darkest of days. I want say, “Thank You,” and I’m grateful for everyone who stops buy and reads my blog. You mean the world to me.

I try to come up with things to help you smile, a painting the artist is painting. A recipe I found and baked and realized this was too good not to share. I just hope I add a little ray of sunshine to someone’s day. Thank you for being in my blogging world, your presence gives me a reason and that is so important now.

I’m going to give you a sneak peak at The Painter’s lastest Masterpiece…It will make it to Monday’s Masterpiece soon. Happy week to y’all. Hope you are all well …

Happy Sunday, Just Jot It January

Good Sunday Morning Blogger’s, woop’s I mean afternoon … Boy the times just flies. Enjoying coffee with the husband (my Best Friend) and having a great weekend. The husband bought me a new computer, Y A Y !!!! He’s such a great guy, and he has given me a life that is as perfect as life gets <3… I love him to the moon.

I’m going to post a song, just to see how this computer works and if it’s any different. I spent all day down at the apple store getting acquainted and setting it up. Better than calling Connie and wasting his time as he is my personal computer tech. I felt good b/c the apple guy said I was pretty good with the computer and so did Connie. I guess all this blogging has at least kept me in the game.

I guess I’ll just use this post for my Just Jot It January…I forgot that I was doing this. My blogging habit got a little sloppy as my old computer was annoying me, but this one is fun getting to know. I love, love, love new things.

So for today it’s just going to playing all day with my new computer and my new planner’t for 2023. I must say I’m a bit behind setting all of those up. I’m not going to worry about that b/c I’ll get it done and like the husband says, ” You’re always looking for stuff to do…(Yeah, right like I don’t have enough to do). That’s a man for you though, but I still love him to the moon… I’m going to post one of my favorite songs and I love it when he sings this song. He does a good job with Bob Seager <3

I’m giving him my old computer which I have to say is still in pretty good condition. He’s not really a computer guy. He’s salesman by trade and until the computer can shake his hand, he’s not really interested in what it can do.

I guess I normally don’t speak about my conservative morals & values b/c they aren’t likely to align with today. I don’t really hide them, it’s better just to keep your cards close to the vest. The people that really are important in my life know what they are and that is all that matters. Actually all that truly matters is me, but whatever. I write in my Common Place book quite often and one of the entries way back on February 16, 2013 was

I suppose that’s all I ever do is break the rules. The question I have to ask myself is who makes the rules?? Isn’t that why rules are made to be broken ?? I don’t care about these wordpress settings that keep changing and altering mid post, whatever…ugghhhhhhh

Are you  also  afraid of spiders? What is your biggest fear, other than spiders?  (if you’re not afraid of spiders, use your biggest phobia instead).

Spiders just creep me out. I mean how can you be afraid of something so small…Just smash it with a shoe or your foot. But whatever you do, don’t have your husband kill it b/c he hates them worse than you do and 9 x’s out of 10 he misses and it disappears under the bed!!! :0 Ahhhh OMGGGGGG

I’m certain it does. Think of your life’s timeline as a roll of toilet paper…At the start it is big and bulky and takes some coaching to come down. When it gets to the end of the roll, well it just spins out of control right til it’s empty 😉 Am I right ??? You know I am 😉

Inspiration #118/Hallelujah

Just going through the Reader and came across this prompt from Mr. Jim . When I got up this morning, I’m always thankful for another day, I took the husband to the train…I do wish they would get that bus running again. He use to take it b/c it stopped right in front of the house and I could sleep in. I do like doing whatever and sleeping in, but I don’t mind that much driving him to the train because I get to be with my guy. He always looks so handsome when he’s off to work and he gives me such a nice kiss. Okay, I digress and let’s get back to the prompt, “Inspiration”.

This morning for some reason he just started singing one of our favorite songs, “Hallelujah.” This song truly is a song that embodies the word inspiration. He loves it as do I <3 . When we sing it, I always sing harmony and he does the melody. We are pretty geeky, but who cares 😉 . We are just happy to get all the song lyrics right, this one we know by heart <3 .

The story behind this song is truly inspirational … They even wrote a book about this song and story behind it. The talent comes from Mr. Leonard Cohen..

My husband, the artist, sketched this out for me. He put this on my desk, where I sit every morning and said to me, “Write !!! You have stories to tell that people would love to read <3 ” It still sitting there, looking back at me. I still need to write. I do have stories to tell. So many, I really need to just write!!

I just don’t want to write about them on-line, I’m from a different generation 😉 . I write in an 80 page, composition notebook til it’s done and then I get another 80 page notebook and start to fill that one up. I guess I don’t want to be around when people read my story. I’m not ashamed of what I wrote, it’s just my story. That’s what writer’s do, they write. Sometimes it’s good, sometimes not so much but I’m the writer so I get to tell the story 😉 . Actually I hope they like it, get inspired from my tales, laugh about my life, and say yes that is definitely my mom <3 . I hope they can feel my presence when they read about my travels through my life. When I read letters from my mom in her handwriting, I know it’s my mom and feel her because I know that’s her handwriting. That’s probably why I write it down, you can see and feel someone through their handwriting…

I’ll close it out for now b/c I have to go cook dinner. It’s breakfast for dinner tonight <3 and it’s time to go…Blessings blogger’s, I’ll leave with one question. “What inspires you?” Blessings and it’s almost Friday… Y A Y <3

Monday’s Masterpiece

I’m going topic off a bit. I usually concentrate on one of the Artist’s Masterpiece’s that he worked on over the weekend, but this weekend I took the Artist out for a treat. Actually it was his Christmas Present. For Christmas this past year I bought him tickets to Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit in Chicago.

It was amazing !!! Just take a look and see for yourself 🙂 Much better live !!!

I got to take a few souvenirs home with me so that too was kind of exciting !!!

I just had to put up some music with this too. One of my Favorite songs of all time…

The artist had a really great time and so did I. I even saw a lot of Vincent Van Gogh Painting’s that looked a little familiar…Definitely a very deep, complex man.
