This is our first song !! I still sing it to him and it still kind of annoys him but he’ll give me that wink and I know he’s right where I’m at !!! It’s a great life waking up with him next to me all the time <3.

Oh yes, did I mention he is an amazing artist (not his day job) b/c we didn’t want to be starving artist and trust me that is a true thing…This was at one of his show’s with an oil painting he painted. Name of this one is, “The Jazz Piano Player.”

and this next picture was one of us when we were younger. I just always liked the picture … Our boys were professional ballet dancer’s and we had just come from one of their shows when they danced w/Joffrey in Chicago. Time’s were grand, b/c everything is beautiful at the ballet 🙂 …
So I guess I need to put up one more pic of the boys at the ballet 😉 …These are pics of our 3rd son when he danced Cinderella as the Ugly Step Sister, and I’m thinking the last one was the Nutcracker and just a random one that I like…
I can’t leave out our youngest and his beautiful wife who were both professional ballet dancer’s. They are now the proud parents of our 7th grandchild…

I say, “Thank You” for today’s prompt which is,”Gratitude”….I really can’t think of a more meaningful word. I’m trying to stay on task, but I can’t think of anything better to add to this prompt. It can really make you feel wonderful when people are grateful. Gratitude can get you through the darkest of days. I want say, “Thank You,” and I’m grateful for everyone who stops buy and reads my blog. You mean the world to me.
I try to come up with things to help you smile, a painting the artist is painting. A recipe I found and baked and realized this was too good not to share. I just hope I add a little ray of sunshine to someone’s day. Thank you for being in my blogging world, your presence gives me a reason and that is so important now.

Happy Sunday blogger’s. Weekend’s come and go pretty fast around here. The prompt for today’s music is Metal Music !!!! Yeah. I have a friend in that music. Actually he is our son’s friend and we made some really fun memories with him and the fam…I became a rockin metal momma that summer and it was nothing like I thought.
A bit of a back story of meeting the lead singer of, “Lamb of God” Mr. DRandallBlythe. Our son’s living out in Virginia (Dancing Professionally) became friend’s with Mr. DRandall Blythe. They collaborated with his music and my son’s choreography on the Ballet. They were both featured in Rolling Stones Magazine.
When we met, it was when he went out on his book tour, “Dark Days”
I’ve decided not play any of his music, it’s just that my mom who is 91 years old likes to read my blog and I think that is something that is not in her wheelhouse 😉 …I’m sure he’d understand, he was an absolute diamond, a real keeper … Love you Mr.DRandallBlythe <3 Momma Frain <3 … I just had to give him a shout out for the Metal Community.

Good Sunday Morning Blogger’s, woop’s I mean afternoon … Boy the times just flies. Enjoying coffee with the husband (my Best Friend) and having a great weekend. The husband bought me a new computer, Y A Y !!!! He’s such a great guy, and he has given me a life that is as perfect as life gets <3… I love him to the moon.
I’m going to post a song, just to see how this computer works and if it’s any different. I spent all day down at the apple store getting acquainted and setting it up. Better than calling Connie and wasting his time as he is my personal computer tech. I felt good b/c the apple guy said I was pretty good with the computer and so did Connie. I guess all this blogging has at least kept me in the game.
I guess I’ll just use this post for my Just Jot It January…I forgot that I was doing this. My blogging habit got a little sloppy as my old computer was annoying me, but this one is fun getting to know. I love, love, love new things.
So for today it’s just going to playing all day with my new computer and my new planner’t for 2023. I must say I’m a bit behind setting all of those up. I’m not going to worry about that b/c I’ll get it done and like the husband says, ” You’re always looking for stuff to do…(Yeah, right like I don’t have enough to do). That’s a man for you though, but I still love him to the moon… I’m going to post one of my favorite songs and I love it when he sings this song. He does a good job with Bob Seager <3
I’m giving him my old computer which I have to say is still in pretty good condition. He’s not really a computer guy. He’s salesman by trade and until the computer can shake his hand, he’s not really interested in what it can do.

Happy Monday and prayer’s and blessings to all impacted by the weather this past Friday. So sad to see all of the destruction and loss of life. It really does put much into perspective, especially at this time of year.
On the lighter side of today, we should all just count our blessings and be grateful for all that we have. On Father’s Day of this year our neighborhood was too hit by a tornado so it reminded me of how fragile life is…
I was just looking on Amazon to get some ideas for my Christmas list. I have to admit, I’m more of a Happy New Year person. I really don’t know why, but I do love the new year. Probably b/c I’m a planner girl and I don’t really get a plan until like now which is a little late. It’s still a great time of year though.

Happy Tuesday, blogger’s…It’s always a little harder getting going after a 3 day weekend but I’m up and starting the day. After the 4th a sense of urgency comes on and I feel like, “Summer’s over Mr. Nightlinger 😉 .”
The Artist was busy painting this weekend. I’m really enjoying these past oil paintings. I have already have a spot for them in our home. Don’t worry if you like them, they are on our Amazon Handmade acct. for purchase (at least the pair is) . I still have to load, “Storm Front”.
Also getting busy on my planner/planner area. I’m not even going to post until I’ve got that under control b/c quite frankly it looks like a hot mess…No bother though, I’ll get it together and it will be beautius for sure <3
Since it’s 2/2 Tuesday I thought I’d put up a couple of songs…The first one always makes me smile because I remember times from years gone by where this song makes me feel this way, only I’m not living in their radio probably just their head 😉 and it’s rent free 😉 …
It’s going to be a busy week b/c I only have 4 days to work with…Appts., houseclean, menu plan & groceries, Target run of course, yadayadayadayda…I’ve also got so behind in my, “10 Year Journal” I’m determined to get caught up on it !!! Oh and I’ve got to fit a mani/pedi in there somewhere, ahhhhh 😉 . I know, I’m spoiled. It’s the husband’s fault. He’s a great guy <3 and I love him to pieces <3
My second choice for my song today is, “Perfect”. The husband and me always give each other songs and he gave me this one. He said it reminds him of us b/c we were just kids when we met and fell into forever with each other (he was 20 and I was 16 😉 ), 42nd wedding anniversary this year… Together 45 years, OMG <3 .

p.s We use to do Community Theatre every summer and I came across this picture of one of the shows we did…How did you think the kiddos became professional dancer’s, singer’s, musicians ??? It wasn’t by accident, Mom and Dad had a little something to do with it. Uber talented family, started with my mom 😉 and everyone has the DNA…I was a piano player and the husband is the Artist (not his day job, OMG starving artist, I don’t think so 😉 ) …Even though they all took a different direction, they were amazing on stage performing, of course I may be a bit prejudice. 😉 …
Hello Blogger’s…I don’t know where the time goes. I definitely need a plan, schedule, or anything that remotely looks like a, “TO DO/TODAY LIST”. I Think I need to blame it on the hus b/c for Father’s Day I updated him to the 21st century with his little techno gadgets, i.e. a new IPhone 11 and a new Apple Watch. Well OMG what a nightmare, but I digress. We got the new phone activated and now we are working on the watch !!! He really looks very cool with all of the stuff 😉 .
You definitely deserve it and you wear it well !!! It looks great on you <3 We love you dad <3
