Share Your World…January 30/31, 2022

What is one topic you love to talk about? I suppose one of my favorite topics is my planner, writing, and archiving…Love to document just about anything and everthing..

Ask the wonder question . ‘But so, suppose there was a magical wizard standing right in front of you and you could turn your life into anything you wanted, what would you do? ‘  For example: What, who, where, why? ‘  (Short explanation:  Suspend disbelief and suppose for a moment that you COULD turn your life into anything you wanted it to be.  Answer any or all of those “W” codicils as you wish)

For “What” I’m pretty sure my life as I know it would not change so much. My life is good. Definitely the “Who” wouldn‘t change either, I’m pretty much loving me 😉 . I think I would live somewhere warmer and by an ocean. Most likely the Atlantic. I would have a thriving, on-line business with the husband’s artwork. Throw in a couple of cats, a gourmet kitchen and a studio where the husband can create many more masterpieces !!! Sounds pretty perfect to me <3 .

(This one has been asked before in various ways)
Could you adjust to life without any internet?
This means the net has theoretically failed and there’s no cyber connection any longer.  Things have gone back to the old ways of land-line telephones (because cells don’t work without the ‘Net) and hand written letters.  Paper newspapers and magazines.  Hard bound books.  Having to actually do finances with ledgers, paper and pen or pencil.  There are a myriad of things the internet brings with it that I think we’ve all gotten so used to that we now take them for granted.   The Millennials and generations after them don’t know the ‘old ways’ at all really in my opinion.

I’m thinking I could survive w/o the internet. It would be an adjustment, but I think I could remember how to live. I’m thinking life was so much less complicated before the internet…

What do you think is unique about the human ‘animal’ (homo sapien)?

Human’s and their ability to reason and think compassionately. Life is not just black or white…

Tempest in a teapot and storm in a teacup

tempest in a teapot is a small problem or event that has been blown out of proportion. A tempest in a teapot is an American idiom, the British equivalent is a storm in a teacup. Other languages have similar idioms, including the French une tempete dans un verre d’eau, or a storm in a glass of water. The basic sentiment of a tempest in a teapot and a storm in a teacup seems to have originated in 52 B.C.E. in the writings of Cicero, in a phrase that translates as stirring up billows in a ladle. The Duke of Ormand, in a letter written in 1678, refers to something that is but a storm in a cream bowl. Both of the idioms a tempest in a teapot and a storm in a teacup seem to have originated in Scotland in the early half of the 1800s.

Who knew the reference was that. Like I said I always do what comes to mind first. When I looked at the prompt for #jusjojan and it was, “Tempest” this is what I thought of. Not only that in my reading for the New Year it said to learn something new everyday. Two birds with one stone, except I’m a day late as per usual with the prompt.

There are many times in my life I have experienced a, “Tempest in a Teapot 😉 ” I think that would be a good thing to control. Keeping life in a calmer perspective…How important is something ???

Like just not giving a care to how my blog is looking right now. Still trying to figure out this wonky wordpress…Whatever 😉 another snow storm is on the way but I don’t care. It’s Saturday and I’m in my warm house with my two favorite people, the husband and Rosie (albeit she’s our doogie <3 . )

Stream of Conciousness Saturday

OLD/NEW That is the prompt for today. Seems appropriate as I am trying to re-set my OLD blog. I did other things this past summer so my OLD blog went away. Now that we are heading into a NEW season, Fall, I want to start a NEW Blog but I’m finding it a bit challenging. When I left, things were a lot different on the OLD WordPress. Now everything seems different so setting up my NEW blog is going to be a challenge. The OLD WordPress was easier but maybe that’s okay. I’m always up for learning NEW things. NEW challenges are good and I don’t feel so OLD. I was very happy to see many of my OLD blogging buddies still around. OLD friends are the best friends. I’ll be working on my NEW Blog and I hope it doesn’t get too wonky. Should be fun. I’m still the Planner Girl and having so much fun with that. I’m also still the painterswife and he has been getting a lot of new painting’s done as he has been home with me since March 13th OMG. This is his latest painting

Will this ever end…Thank you for staying with me on this blogging journey. I’ll be posting the Artist’s paintings and my planner escapades. Life is good. Blessings Bloggers <3 . I forgot I’m suppose to tag and post this so I better get to it…
