Me & Connie

Happy Tuesday blogger’s…I have been meaning to jump on and write a blog but have just been so busy, busy, busy. I can’t believe I have all my flower’s planted, I made a wildflower butterfly/hummingbird garden out back and it’s not even memorial day. Y A Y for me and the husband !!!! I’ll be spending a lot of time out back here, very peaceful <3 . We also bought a brand new, spanking charbroil grill this year, double Y A Y…It’s been a while since I’ve had one of those and I am so excited. I’ve already used it twice and we have only had it 2 days 😉 .

This is my Butterfly/Hummingbird/Wildflower garden…Isn’t is just beautius !!!! I still need to get a bird house and a humming bird feeder in there. I just love it though.

Here is the front of our home. This is where my roses are. I planted them a couple of years ago and they are just doing fantastic even though the bunnies destroyed they over the winter months…

Finally a look at our new Car-broil grill…It’s really beautiful and I am so excited to put it to use. Absolutely one of may favorite things to do…BBQ in the summer !!! Happy Summer to all. It’s going to be great <3 . I hope yours will too <3 .

AtoZ Challenge/Letter

The Artist does really well when it comes to sketching & painting real people. Everyone he has ever recreated in his artwork, he brings that person alive with feeling albeit in a very subtle way…The 1st person is Winston (C)hurchill, a graphite sketch as his medium and the 2nd painting is an oil …

Winston Churchill

These next two sketches are using a graphite medium and they are (C)owboy’s i.e. John Wayne…

The Shootist/John Bernard Books

True Grit/Rooster Cogburn

My final choice for today is a sketch he did in graphite for me personally and put it right in front on my desk where I would see it first thing every morning. It is a graphite sketch of Leonard Cohen who wrote and recorded the song, “Hallelujah.” He was a tortured artist who worked very hard to get this piece of music done. It has a fascinating back story. I hope you’ll take a minute and read about it. I promise you it will give a whole new meaning to this song and the person who wrote it !!!

I thought I would do a couple more of the Artist for the letter
