Happy Christmas & Merry Everything

A Christmas Prayer

Loving Father, 

Help us remember the birth of Jesus, 

that we may share in the song of the angels,

the gladness of the shepherds, 

and the worship of the wise men.

Close the door of hate

and open the door of love all over the world.

Let kindness come with every gift 

and good desires with every greeting. 

Deliver us from evil by the blessing

which Christ brings, 

and teach us to be merry with clear hearts.

May the Christmas morning

make us happy to be Thy children, 

and the Christmas evening bring us to our beds 

with grateful thoughts,

forgiving and forgiven, 

for Jesus’ sake.

Gifts

With this being the Christmas Season I started thinking about gifts…So many things that you can buy. I came to the conclusion that the best gifts cannot be bought. The best gifts are the ones given to you by God and your mom 😉 .

I must send thank you’s to my mom for giving me the love of music. She made sure I learned how to play the piano and sang in the choir. I can remember every Saturday morning she would play the music, usually classical (which I loved and studied on the piano) or Opera’s (which I didn’t care for at all). I did however fall in love with Musical Theater <3 .

I thought I would share with you all of my favorites song’s of the season or really anytime of the year. Today I am going to share with you one of the best classical singer’s, Andrea Bocelli performing “Hallelujah,” with his daughter. This is a new version that I just came upon today it is heartwarming…Enjoy
