Happy New Year Blogger’s !!! I meant to do this last night, but I guess on purpose I waited until this morning b/c I’m going to be reinventing my blog this year. It’s going to be fun, so I hope you’ll be checking back regularly…
The Holiday’s were just the best this year. We had so much fun with the family. It really didn’t matter that there were miles between us. We were all together in such a good place.
Today’s prompt for SLS is the, “Mersey Sound”. Is it a sound, is it a place, is it a type of music??? I’m trying to figure that out, b/c I’m thinking it might be all three.

Thank you so much Connie !!! What a great son. Call him anytime day or night and he’s always there for his mom. You just gotta love a son who’s like that. They are just the best kids. They have shared their lives and their beautius baby Ruby !! We have 4 beautius granddaughter’s who are the love of our lives. What a great family, and family is the most important thing in this crazy world.

Here is the rest of the girls…There’s our daughter the nurse, who has been a God send lately. When her dad was hospitalized recently, she’s a nurse and she slept in his room every night to make sure he had the best care !!! Oh and they bought us tickets to the Northwestern game for their dad’s birthday <3
… What great kids. Very thoughtful, that’s where dad graduated from and it was so much fun !!! So blessed to have them watching over us. Next to her is Mariah, and she’s just the sweetest little girl in the world. Grandpapa is next to Mariah and there’s Cordell next to Grandpapa. They have become quite the pair 😉 b/c those are the only two guys with all the girls. We have 2 other son’s out East . This is our family and we are having a blast. I had to get these two sweethearts in there. They are just the best little girl’s ever !!! Grandmama & Grandpapa love you to the moon…I couldn’t be any prouder of my family. They are the sweetest family and I’m blessed to be the mom and grandmama of this bunch !!! I love you all <3, to the moon. Get ready for the holiday baking, it’s going to be a blast !!!!

So happy to be back and on my blog…Hello to all my blogger friend’s. It’s great to be back. One of my fav challenges, SLS. I usually use the 1st song that comes to mind after reading the challenge.

This is one of my fondest memories from back in the day. Pre-pandemic we use to attend many local consert’s during the summer. One of our favorite groups to follow were, “The Ides of March.” They put on a really fun evening and I even became part of the show one time.
Long story short, Jim Peterik was singing one of the song’s he wrote, “The Search is Over,” made famous by the group Survivor. We got to the concert late and came in as he was performing this song. He walked down off the stage and came right up to me and continued singing the song to me. It was a very special moment. Another concert in Milwaukee I got some pics with him. He kind of got to know us considering we were always in the front row at many of his hometown venues 😉 … It was alway such a great time !!!!

So far so good with the posting on my blog. So happy to be back. I have a feeling of what went awry with the blog, but I’ll save that for another day.
The Artist is working on another Masterpiece. It always makes me happy to see him doing what he loves and what I think he was alway suppose to do. He has never taken any art courses at all, but that just proves what a great artist he really is. Here is a sneak peak at, “Monday’s Masterpiece.”

Going back into a Midwest winter, which is something everyone can be grateful for…Not. But it’s going to be okay. I’m just grateful for being on my blog again. It’s going to take a bit to get my, “Editorial Calendar” operating again, no worries though. I’m just grateful for being able to blog and post.

Happy Thursday and it really is. Having an amazing fall here in the Midwest, but we all know what’s coming…I really need to get out and get my tree pictures i.e. leaf peeping. I have seen a few that makes !!!!
I saw this today and I grabbed it with my phone. I loved it and making, “Lists”…Really I can’t do the day, any day, w/o a list. Top 3, To Do’s, Daily, yadayadayada. I’m sure you get the picture.
The weather has been prrrrfect up until yesterday but I think we’ll eek out a few more nice, sunny, warm days before everything goes south. I think they call it Indian Summer…I know, that you can only call it that after the 1st tracking snow. Yes, I’m also a weather geek…There really isn’t a season or storm that I don’t like.
