Blogging from AtoZ April Challenge/ Letter “C”

Good Friday afternoon AtoZ Blogger’s.  Y A Y its’ Friday !! (I think…Not quite sure anymore 😉 )  Today’s letter is (C)…I  will start from there.

A Tale of Two (C)ities  Charles Dickens….

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times…

This challenge is turning out exactly like I thought it was going to go considering all of the distractions and anxiety outside my front door, and the world.  Try as I may, I’m an obsessor (is that even a word ???  Did I spell it right ???)  I’ll check later, I digress back to my letter (C).

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times…I have to be honest, I never read the book.  I’m just married to a man who is a library and a scholar and knows everything about everything !!!  I remember when we first started dating (100 years ago 😉 ) he always had a book and was always reading.  A college boy (Northwestern University, The Harvard of the Midwest) at least that was his mother always said.  Sorry back to my letter (C).

Yesterday’s post I put up a picture of my beautius planner, Mz. Serena.  Then I got a comment on how very organized my schedule appeared. She also said she had to stay to a strict/tight schedule or chaos would rule her life…I told her to come back today and I would show her my reality these days.  They say a picture is worth 1000 words.  I let it do the talking for me 😉 .  This is how my planning area has imploded since the husband has been here, “Working from home…”

I also put up a picture of Mz. Serena..Isn’t she beautius and so organized…

This is what Mz. Serena looked like before I did my layout…

Stay with me now.  Remember my title for this post has a purpose. The top pictures are pictures of my, “Dining Room,” i.e. planning area.  Now I know what you are all thinking, but in my defense we are in uncharted territory in the country and now with my husband home every single day !!! I just gave up…  Here is where a tale of the two cities come in.  The above pictures are of my dining room aka planner area which is right next to my living room.  These tell a completely different story.

These areas are literally in the same space and are divided by what use to be my desk until the husband stole it 😦

There you have it, “A Tale of Two Cities ❤ ”

It is a far, far better thing that I do, than I have ever done.  It is a far, far better rest that I go to than I have ever known 😉 .

Happy Spring, Hello Weekend    Blessings AtoZer’s ❤

PS…I’m going to get it all back to normal as part of my Spring Cleaning (if that is ever going to happen 😉 )  It’s so much easier to create in a space that is calm…I’ll do before/after pics, day by day with the AtoZ Challenge.  It will be beautiful when I’m done ❤ .

    • That’s very reassuring. It’s comfortable and I’m okay w/it and the husband doesn’t even notice it. He just wants to go back to work so bad !!! Blessings ❤ and thanks for stopping by.

  1. I’m glad I’m not the only one with a place for creating that looks like this. My little corner is in the living room, too. 🙂

    • Thank God !!! My craft is collecting planner supplies and kits 😉 Blessings this Saturday Mz. ghostmmnc ❤

      • It’s good to have a place to leave everything out where you can get to it easily. Most of my stuff right now is coloring books and markers – haha! 🙂

      • Me and the husband just made a huge mess and got in a fight too … We’ve been together since March 13th. 24/7. This quarantine is getting old!!!
