AtoZ April Blogging Challenge…

Hello my fellow AtoZ Blogger’s…It’s Day 2 of the Challenge so I guess that would mean it’s the letter “B”.  I’m going to stay with Julia Carmeron’s, “The Artist Way…It’s Never Too Late to (B)egin Again.

She starts out with 4 Basic Tools…

1. MORNING PAGES/Three daily pages of longhand, stream of consciousness writing to be done first thing in the morning, “for your eyes only.”

2. MEMOIR/A weekly, guided process of triggering memories and revisiting your life in several-year increments.

3. ARTIST DATES/A once-weekly, solo expedition to explore something fun, and

4. WALKING/A twenty-minute solo walk, twice weekly, without a dog, friend or cell phone…

This is my starting point for being creative.  My Planner, Mz. Serena, is my life, no literally she’s everything to me, #2 would be my, “Bag of Tricks.”  I’ll save that for another post 😉 .  Here is today’s layout, i.e. my daily plan for the day…

This is where I (B)egin for today with the AtoZ Challenge.  I promise I’ll try to do better tomorrow.  My world is so wonky (my new favorite word 😉 ) these days.  My daughter is a nurse so I’m worried about her.  My Connie told me he was told to quarantine for 14 days as he might of been exposed at work.  The husband got an email from his job that someone there has been hospitalized so everything is closed there.  A lot going on right now and I’m already sick of washing my hands 😉 …Blessings AtoZ blogger’s.  Stay safe.  I’ll leave with a bit of the wisdom from my book I’m using….

Question:  Do you know how old I will be by the time I learn to play the piano?

Answer:  The same age you’ll be if you don’t 😉

And finally, “A year from now you will wish you had started today.”  Karen Lamb  ❤ .

  1. Wow, this is a very organized schedule. Mine tended to be a bit lazy and improvised, although with quarantine, having the kids having online classes and husband doing Home-Office, we have to stick to a tight and strict schedule, or chaos would rule.
The last day of classes, my son told us that one of his best friends tested positive, and at hubbys work there might have been exposure, so we told everyone that we quarantined from everyone, including our parents and relatives, as we didn’t know if we were already contagious. Luckily, the 2 week wait ended and neither of us had it so we can breathe a bit. But here in Mexico this is just the beginning. Anyway, we’re hoping for the best. I hope you and your family stay safe and healthy. And maybe, one day we would look back and see how strong we were and how we helped each other spreading hope. Best wishes.
