Song Lyric Sunday

Happy Song Lyric Sunday, Blogger friend’s…It’s almost over, Sunday that is and I’m way late for posting.  Please forgive me as I was very busy with the garage and throwing away so much stuff  !!!  Y A Y

The Song Lyric prompt for today is…Drumroll pleazzzzzz …. “Bird/Fly/Sky/Wing”  This one was an easy one as the prompt is right up there with one of my favorite movies, “Beaches,” starring Bette Midler and Barbara Hershey.

I know this song is about a friendship between two girls, but the first time I heard of this song was from my guy ❤  He said it reminded him of me being his wife and the mother of his kids.  It brought a tear to my eye to think he thought of me as his hero.  It’s made for a really great love story because we are each other’s hero.  I love you husband and you are the wind beneath my wings..

My Forever ❤
The real hero in my life ♥️

When we were young

Wind Beneath My Wings
Ohhhh, oh, oh, oh, ohhh.
It must have been cold there in my shadow,
To never have sunlight on your face.
You were content to let me shine, that’s your way.
You always walked a step behind.
So I was the one with all the glory,
While you were the one with all the strength.
A beautiful face without a name for so long.
A beautiful smile to hide the pain.
Did you ever know that you’re my hero,
And everything I would like to be?
I can fly higher than an eagle,
For you are the wind beneath my wings.
It might have appeared to go unnoticed,
But I’ve got it all here in my heart.
I want you to know I know the truth, of course I know it.
I would be nothing without you.
Did you ever know that you’re my hero?
You’re everything I wish I could be.
I could fly higher than an eagle,
For you are the wind beneath my wing
I still really love this song ❤  It’s just so nice and brings me back to a wonderful time in my life ❤ …
