List things or events that changed your life?

A couple of events changed my life.  The first would have to be my car accident with a traumatic brain injury (Coma) paralyzed left side, yadayadayada……..Rehab/physical therapy and it’s all good, except for my two fingers (pinky and ring, left hand)still annoy the crap out of me.  The next defining moment in my life would have to be the loss of our son, Sean Patrick.

Complete this sentence: Is it a bird? Is it a plane?

Duck it’s…Going to hit me in the face 🙂

What genre of music do you like?

I really love all music.  Classical, contemporary, musical theatre, rock, classic rock, etc…I have a few special moments.  I got up on the stage with Harry Chapin and sang Taxi with him and he kissed me on the cheek!!!   How cool is that.

Another time was when we were at a concert w/Jim Peterik & the Ides of March (Vehicle).  He was walking down off the stage, going into the audience.  I was walking by the stage right at that exact moment he was coming off the stage.  He was singing/performing, “The Search is Over,” and he kissed me right there as he was singing the song, “The Search is Over,” in front of the entire audience…OMG  Another amazing moment.

We go to his concerts every year.  It’s a great time and he’s an awesome performer w/his band…He also sang with Survivor and wrote so many songs. So many to even mention. I’m going to put up the youtube video of another one of his song’s, “L.A.Goodbye.”  Another song he wrote.  He also wrote, “Eye of the Tiger.”  So many really great tunes !!

Well I might as well put up his really famous song.  I love going to his concerts because he always plays this one at the very end.  He’s so funny because he’ll say, “I know why your here, so you’ll just have to wait til the end for it.”  You know, Vehicle…It’s an amazing song !!!  This song really says it all about Jim Peterik & The Ides of March. A great musician/song writer.  One of the best and they sure don’t make them like this anymore, and to think he kissed me. Amazing ❤  My summer isn’t complete without going to one of his concert’s.

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?  Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.

I am nearly finished cleaning my dining room table off,  Y A Y.  No really you don’t even know, think TLC and buried alive (planners, stickers & washi tape, oh my).  Really I’m actually making progress.  Again Y A Y…

That’s all for my week, looking forward to this weekend and warmer weather.  I think it’s going to be a great one, finally…

    • I know I so wished the husband had his phone 📱 out. He could’ve recorded it. Whatever I’ll never forget it. Thanks Janet, for stopping by. It’s Friday!!! So it’s time for a trip to Michael’s !!!

  1. One event that profoundly changed me was Colombine. My kids were young at the time, but I could never say goodbye to my loved ones after that without also worrying.

  2. It’s hard when things like that happen so fast. It’s hard to wrap your mind around it. I’ve been concentrating on mindfulness, “Be Here Now.” The mantra I repeat over and over again ♥️. Blessing and thanks for stopping by. Have a great week …
