Share Your World

Thought I would just get back into blogging more often.  Kind of a warm-up for the AtoZ Challenge.  Been in hibernation with the winter and all.  I have always enjoyed the, “Share Your World,” challenge.  So here goes…

  1. What is your earliest memory?   That memory would be in our first home in suburban Chicago.  We met a family who lived across the street from us.  They had 6 children, the mom was a nurse and the dad worked for the railroad.  We had 4 kids, my mom was a nurse too and my dad worked for the railroad so it was fate, destiny that we become friends/family.  We would have a snack time.  It was always Slo-poke, kind of a caramel sucker.  The mom’s would smash it into little pieces and we would each get a piece.  The youngest one, (which I was not) would get the biggest piece with the sucker’s stick still attached.  I always thought that was so unfair.  It makes me smile now 🙂  We are still  together on this journey called life.  We have been to each others wedding’s, funeral’s, baby shower’s, hospital accidents and yadayadayada. You get the picture.
  2. Which way does the toilet paper roll go? Over or under?  It definitely goes over. How else do you make the folded triangle and put a pretty sticker on it when the Queen comes over.  Funny story, our close family friends came over and I did that to the roll of TP.  It was like Christmas, so I used pretty Christmastime  stickers.  My girlfriend was so confused.  She didn’t know if she should use it and throw it away or take it off an re-do the triangle and put the sticker back on.  Yes so you see, that’s why we are BFF’s.  When I would do it in the husband’s bathroom, he just would rip it off and throw it away.  Then he would come out and say, “I really hate when you do that.”  Men, whatever…
  3. What makes you feel grounded?  My Planner’s and having my week planned out.  My desks cleaned off…Ground zero (house cleaned, beds made and bathrooms shined, house vacuumed, laundry started, bills paid and a good balance in checking account) and of course a full tank of gas, dinner started and dry cleaning picked up.  As you can see, I’m not nuts I just love order and I love my home and being a homemaker, wife, and mother.   My family really does think I’m nuts, but they still love me ❤

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?   I got my dining room table cleaned off…Y A Y and all of my jounaling got caught up (10 Year Journal).

So there you have it, that’s my world this week.  Love it ❤
