Thoughtful

I came across this yesterday and it really hit home for me.  Life can be a struggle at times and we don’t all have the holiday spirit.  It’s okay when life changes.  It may not be what you want your life to be, but most likely it is how it should be. That is if you believe in something that is bigger than all of us, which I do.

Some thoughts as we enter the holiday season … It is important to remember that not everyone is surrounded by large wonderful families. Some of us have problems during the holidays and sometimes are overcome with great sadness when we remember the loved ones who are not with us. And, many people have no one to spend these times with and are besieged by loneliness. We all need caring, loving thoughts right now.  Give a moment of support to all those who have family problems, health struggles, job issues, worries of any kind and just need to know that someone cares. Do it for all of us, for nobody is immune. Be grateful.  I care about each of you; if you have a need, I hope you will ask.

I started out with November’s Thankful 30, but I think that was just a bit bigger than I could handle right now.  I do believe gratitude gets you through the tough times and although yesterday (Thanksgiving) was not what I had planned I came away from the day grateful.  I really tried to learn something from yesterday and I did.  Everything is going to be okay.

Now as we start down that road of, “Merry Christmas and Hats & Horns !!”  I’m really going to try to make it a great Holiday Season.  I’ve already got some things planned.  Lunch with a friend & the Christkindlemart.  Hockey with my guys, WOO    HOO, and that is going to be soon. Can hardly wait.  Yeah for Hockey and my Chicago Blackhawks !!!  I’m going to decorate for Christmas (Hey, I didn’t do anything last year so that’s a big deal).

So if you are having trouble wrapping yourself around all of this holiday goodness, just keep it simple and do what makes you happy and feel good.  There are no rules to the holidays.  It’s okay if you don’t have an eighteen foot christmas tree or christmas cards with all the family dressed up.  Just make sure to love yourself because you really are worth it, no matter ❤  Blessings Bloggers ❤

I’m just ending with this picture of one of my guys with his girlfriend.  Aren’t they just the sweetest looking couple.  This was when they came out this past year.  She’s a professional ballet dancer and a beautiful one at that.  I love you Connie and Melissa ❤ Melissa & Connie (so sweet)
