November’s Thankful 30

I forgot to post this yesterday, sorry.  Busy day yesterday but it goes along with my Thankful 30.

Today I am thankful for being a homemaker.  It is payday and Friday and who wouldn’t be thankful for that.  I love, love, love being able to stay home and take care of my home and husband and animals.  It’s a lot more simple now than when we were raising our 4 kids, but still I find it very rewarding.

Everyday while I am sleeping in my wonderfully, warm bed, the husband comes in and kisses me goodbye.  Then I just fall back to sleep for a bit with the thought in my mind of how blessed I am and how lucky I am to have such a great husband.  He is a great provider and takes care of me.  He takes the bus to the train to get to the city to work all day.  He doesn’t mind, in fact he says it’s a lot easier than me getting up and driving him (I think so too 🙂 )  In my defense, I do pick him up at night from the train.

Below is a short video I took of him on one of the rare occasions of when I took him to the train.  I like taking pictures of people when they walk away from me.  I know this may sound kind of creepy, but you just never know if that’s the last time you will see them.  Whenever he goes or I go out or hang up the phone from a call, we give each other a kiss and an I love you…It just makes good sense ❤

Then here are a few of his painting’s that going to work was the inspiration.  Who knew work would inspire painting’s.  I love it, everything he see’s is a picture/painting…

Then I thought I would just throw in a picture of our Mz. Bella.  She looks so sad when he goes.  At night though when I go to pick him up, (she won’t let me get out of the house w/o her) she’s so happy when she sees him coming to the car.  She knows when we go out to get him.  She acts different if we are just running errands. Have a great weekend, Blessings ❤

  1. Great paintings. How did he get those people to stand in the cold for him – LOL. I like the picture taking as he is walking away. I may have to start doing that too. You are blessed.

    • Oh I so am…Thank you for saying that and for visiting. It’s my favorite time of year. Looking back and remembering all of the things I have been blessed with. Also thank you for being such a great follower and reading my blogs ❤ Blessings to you this weekend ❤
