#atozchallenge/’O’ is for Overtime

How appropriate for todays letter.  Guys my Blackhawks lost last night in Overtime.  I stopped watching after the 1st period because I knew I would not sleep if I watched.  The husband was watching and he kept coming in to tell me what was going on.  I told him to stop it, I don’t want to know.  They were up 2/0 but then they tied up the game in the 3rd period.  The husband came to bed.  He said he could not watch overtime.  I woke up at 3am and looked at my phone and saw they had lost in overtime.  What can I say  😦  I am just going to power through this and continue on with this challenge.  Not going to give up, that’s not my nature…

 Overtime (ice hockey)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Overtime is a method of extending an ice hockey game when the scores are tied after regulation. The two main methods of extending the game are the overtime period (commonly referred to as overtime) and the shootout. Depending upon league rules, the game’s winning team may or may not be necessarily determined.

  1. Sorry for your loss. I’ve had Giant’s games that have gone on like that. (Also the most recent election was one of those nights 😦
