A fan, or fanatic, sometimes also called aficionado or supporter, is a person who is enthusiastically devoted to something or somebody, such as a band, a sports team, a genre, a book, a movie or an entertainer. Collectively, the fans of a particular object or person constitute its fanbase or fandom. They may show their enthusiasm in a variety of ways, such as by promoting the object of their interest, being members of a fan club, holding or participating in fan conventions, or writing fan mail. They may also engage in creative activities (“fan labor“) such as creating fanzines, writing fan fiction, making memes or drawing fan art.
Okay so for today I’m going to have a little fun because I realize that the devil can be in the details and hockey is so much more fun than the details I have been providing you with…
Life can be challenging, even cruel and unfair (you don’t say) but really I have found over the years when life happens you must get a reason to keep you moving in a positive direction. Something to look forward to that makes you feel happy, something to make you smile. That’s what the hockey season did for us. It was something we could share and be happy together with. Forget about the trials of the day for just an evening. The trials will be there when tomorrow comes, but you got a break. Shared a moment and made some good memories, new memories. Then you get through it, you go on for another day. Kind of the Blackhawks Motto, ‘One Goal.’
I’ll just give you a little snippet my huge fandom that has surrounded my life and my family’s life. It has kept us together, through it all good and not so good, igging it out with the Blackhawks. Make sure you follow because there are happy stories ahead. Blessings to all who follow, read, comment and good luck to all of the #atozchallengers ❤
