A day early. I went back to some earlier halloweens. I have such good memories from my happy memory bank ❤ If you follow my blog, you know we are a theater family. My boys (young men actually, but you know the are my boys always. It’s a mom thing) are professional dancer’s and performer’s. They are a joy to watch and I feel so priveledged and proud every time I see them perform. They have been on stage and have a lot on youtube. I don’t know which I like better, I think I love it all. Here are some memories from Halloween past. The first set of pictures is of Matthew in, “Dracula” on Milwaukee Ballet years back.
The same show that year our Connie was also on the same ballet/in the same show and they went out in Milwaukee, flash mobbing at different places to Michael Jackson’s Thriller. He’s the one who jumps in with the mask. I can’t tell you how much fun it has been to follow these guys and their careers. It’s kind of like the circus but in a good way. You just have to be really laid back and take what comes. Being in the performance business is really no easy life. It takes a special kind of person to do what they do. Not only do they have to be really talented, they have to be disciplined and they really don’t live a normal kind of life. When the world is celebrating whatever holiday, they are working/performing entertaining the world. They work really long hours and it is physically demanding !!! I’ve seen what they do up close and personal. I have an enormous amount of respect for all professional performer’s. They don’t do it for the money or the fame. They do it because like any vocation, it is truly a calling. Thank you to all performers for what you do ❤ I love you <3.
Oh and thanks for the memories…Love this ❤
