Hi, I’m Scarlett

Blogging 101…I am here trying to figure out this crazy world known as the blogosphere !!!!  I have had this blog for awhile and I just got done with my series (one that I invented “Best of 2015”) blog posts.  It was so much fun, but now it’s time to get back to business.

I am going to be refining this blog along with starting up a new one to head up our new business adventure.  So really I am starting from square one with everything.  Considering this is the start of a new year, I though now would be a good time to revisit Blogging U and start with this course.

As for who I am, I am a 50 something mother of 4 grown children and 3 grandchildren.  I have been married to the greatest guy for going on 37 years !!! OMG  I am a huge Chicago Blackhawks fan (yes they are the one’s who won the Stanley Cup last year, B O O M) and are probably going to win it again this year !!!  I am a conservative, pro-life, catholic and that’s probably as much as you are going to hear about that.  My belief’s are my own and this is not my platform. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion after all this is America.  Sometimes I might have a moment, but usually this is just my happy place and I hope it’ll be yours too.

I love to write and journal and I’m a planner girl.  I also love animals ❤  I have a Bella (Chicago Brown Dog, yes that’s our own personal breed) an Elsa Mae, think Toto the Wizard of Oz and the latest addition Louie a tuxedo cat.  We are all trying to learn how to get along and it’s going very, very slowly.  Louie, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship ❤

My boys are professional ballet dancer’s and I couldn’t be prouder of them so you’ll probably see a lot of their pictures up on my blog too.  They will be doing Romeo & Juliet in the Winter Program.

Well I hope you will jump come along for the ride.  Stop on by, I’ll try to keep it interesting.  Blessings and let me know what you think ❤

  1. My daughter is two and loves ballet I hope to put her in a dance school when she is alittle bigger 💕

    • My guys didn’t start till one of them in 6th grade and the youngest was in 2nd. It is very hard and you give up a lot of your life. They both went to a performing arts high school. It was like water running under the bridge. I could not stop them from dancing, it took on a life of it’s own. I really love watching them and their careers though and I am very proud of them ❤

    • That’s great to have a good foundation in dance. When they started, I made them take it all Ballet, Jazz, and Tap. I let them take Hip Hop too though and they loved to break dance with their friends. Drove me coo coo, crazy ❤

      • Haha I know I’ve been to so many of there shows and it’s so elegant And beautiful they way the dance and get on Pointe
