Well last time we talked I was trying to pretend I was not sick and it was allergies. Well I finally came out of denial and said yes I am sick and I am going to bed. It turns out, that was the best thing to do. I got my atomizer out and filled it with, “Four Thieves”
Here is some background information on Four Thieves. In 1413, the bubonic plague decimated Europe. During that time, there were four thieves who robbed the dead and dying victims of the Black Death. When they were captured, they were told they must reveal how they resisted contracting the deadly plague. It was obvious they had some type of special resistance. They explained that one of them was an herbalist and he revealed the special concoction of herbs that they rubbed on their clothes, hands, hair, face, etc. To prove this was true, they were taken from prison and forced to bury the dead with the promise that if they lived, they would go free. They lived and everyone then knew it was true.
Well I rubbed it on my feet and ankles and put on socks and also used it in my aroma therapy diffuser and I still got a cold, but I felt better with my room smelling so wonderful as I snuggled in my bed watching movies for two days and drinking tea. So I guess it did help me get better.
And I also started juicing, which is a good thing to do no matter if you are sick or not. But I must warn you, after you juice you will no longer be able to drink juice bought at the store i.e. Minute Maid or Simply Juice. When Matthew and Connor were home, I juiced for them. After that they didn’t touch the juice I bought, they would just stand around in the kitchen for awhile before saying, “So when are you going to juice ??” They were huge juice drinkers and now they are having trouble drinking the store bought juice.
